Recent Rhodes University Journalism graduate and new resident of the Mother City, the Tuminator has embarked on a green journey to live a greener and responsible way of life. She will be making small changes in her life to terminate any and every trace of irresponsibility and thoughtlessness when it comes to living a green life. She will be sharing with you her experiences as well as her trials and errors as she goes about making her contribution to the change that needs to happen.

Climate change is a reality and The Tuminator hopes that My Green Journey will encourage you to also embark on your own journey; making small changes to make much bigger differences in your community and in the world.

My Green Journey is a space with which the Tuminator wants you to get involved. She wants you to share your experiences and comment and ask questions where things do not seem to add up. She will also use her experiences to delve into serious local and global issues that either concern or impress.

UPDATE: The Tuminator has left the building as of June 2010 and will no longer be sharing her green lifestyle revolution with you. The challenge has been taken up by a new champion who goes by her eco ninja name – the Manic Organic.

Like the Tuminator before her the Manic Organic will enthusiastically adopt environmentally friendly practices into her daily life. Being a bit of an eco rookie she is wide open to comments and suggestions as she embarks on her green journey, so hop on and enjoy the ride!
