The issue of pirated music still is and always has been a very contentious issue. When you have report after report and research documentation that comes with it as proof, that music bought online is better for the environment than walking into music stores and buying a CD, you find it hard not to believe that the western world doesn’t have it in for you.

The office was abuzz last week when the new recycling bins arrived. It was like a shiny new toy had been delivered for everyone to play with (aside from the two Touchscreen kiosks delivered by Optimal Energy). Each one was clearly marked for ‘GLASS’, ‘TIN’, and ‘PLASTIC’. Yes. It was clearly about time we started actively taking part and doing our bit.

In all my years as a human being I never imagined that I would leave my carbon emitting car behind and use my legs and feet to get to work. I’m not going to argue; it’s way past the time to being more active with this climate change business.

Yesterday I did myself proud when I bought a low-flow shower head. I must admit. It wasn’t easy having so little water to shower with this morning. I felt like I was in the middle of a drought and it was raining but the rain just wouldn’t pour. It just drizzled. Nonetheless, I had to look at the bigger picture. That low-flow shower head was going to make an impact – small as it may be – on our water resources.
